Ionic Zone is a private company that has been in business since 2002. We have over 15,000 happy past customers (and about 8 unsatisfied customers, lol). By providing great service, low prices, and great value products, we have managed to continue growing year in and year out.
Up until 2008, Ionic Zone was primarily an importer (from China and Taiwan) of electronic air cleaning products. We decided to start making our own ozone generators in 2008 after noticing a high failure rate in the ozone generators we were importing from China. Our water ozonator has a low failure rate, about 3 in 100 won't make it to the 1 year warranty period. We found the ozone generators from China however had a much higher failure rate, close to 50%. Unlike other vendors who charge a lot for their ozone generators to cover for the high failure rate in these types of products (ozone is very corrosive and high voltage products are prone to high failure if abused), we wanted to make a product that could withstand the test of time and that could be offered for a better than fair price. The inspiration to make our own "failure proof" ozone generators came in a dream to the owner. He foresaw a day when business would not be as usual in the near future and when having a quality ozone generator would be a great asset, perhaps even survival gear. (civil unrest, wars, smoke filled air, etc). If things do hit the fan in the near future, we want our ozone generators to continue performing for years to come, hence our innovative design that removes all "prone to fail" parts in lieu of an easy access design that allows the user to keep the inside of their units clean and toxin free.
In early 2010, we decided to invest in an office-warehouse facility to ramp up our manufacturing capabilities. We plan on selling large quantities of our ozone generators to local dealers nationwide via protected areas.
